About me
At 35, my life turned upside-down when I was told my Mums illness was terminal. When I first learned that treatment wasn’t an option, I somehow managed to drag myself onto my Yoga mat. At the most impossible time, I knew the only thing I could do was continue to move and breathe. After that practice, although still heartbroken, I had a deep knowing that everything would somehow be ok.
I also knew in that moment, that the years I had spent practicing Yoga Asana and sitting in Meditation, had given me the strength I needed to support my beautiful Mum in her final days and beyond that, heal my broken heart.
A year after my Mum passed, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training here in Cambridge, which had been a dream of mine for many years. I am passionate about sharing the practice of Yoga, which is often misunderstood, and I love to interweave yoga with another passion of mine, Massage. For me, the two are perfect partners and I never take for granted the magic in mindful movement and healing touch.
I offer a range of massage treatments which I do from my garden cabin in Cherry Hinton. The cabin looks out onto a stream and picturesque woodland at the end of my garden and is a beautifully serene space to come for a treatment, especially in the summer when the garden is full of growth and wildlife.
I also offer 121 Yoga, Group Yoga (including accessible chair Yoga) sessions, and Women’s Circles.
